My recent stay at Econo Lodge in Lake Mills was a pleasant surprise. The location near The Grist restaurant made it convenient for us to enjoy local cuisine after a day at the Jefferson festival. The staff's friendly and accommodating nature, especially in resolving room discrepancies, impressed us. The indoor pool and well-maintained facilities provided a relaxing atmosphere. Although the room could use some updates and improvements, the comfy beds ensured a good night's sleep. The complimentary continental breakfast with Douwe Egberts Coffee was a nice touch. A decent option for a short stay, especially for those looking to explore the Glacial Drumlin Trail nearby.
